BIG doors are opening across oceans of distance to all kinds of interesting artists, projects and organisations across the world. Side by Side, a collaboration with fabulous Mother Load artists Natalie Macellaio and Lesli Robertson, took me virtually into the Dallas Museum of Art via video to share the creative processes underpinning BIG work and provoke the creation of imagined characters and worlds. Children and parents worked side by side responding directly to exhibits in the museum to collaboratively create anthropomorphic creatures and constructed imagined worlds for them to inhabit.
